Originally from Indiana, I moved to New York in the 80’s and ultimately worked for the "John Barrett" salon, applying makeup and shaping eyebrows for New York’s social and celebrity clientele. In recent years, I wanted to work in a more trendy salon. My inspiration was the "Warren - Tricomi" salon on 57th street where I found an uptown setting with a downtown attitude. Most of my recent work can be seen on the "Hampton’s" cover, featuring Katie Lee Joel ("Top Chef" show host), "Gotham", featuring Tori Burch (Designer), "House & Gardens", featuring Eva Jeanbart Lorenzotti (Director of "Vivre"), "Opera News" cover featuring, Russian opera diva Anna Netrebko make-over stories featured in "Glamour" & "Family Circle". Also I just finished working on a new show for the Discovery channel, (hair & makeup for Cooper Lawrence, also author of "Been There Done That, Kept the Jewelry" & anchor of her own radio show along with Bob Wiltfong, comedian & cast member of the "Pepper Dennis" show. During this Fall’s Fashion Week the makeup I did on Katie Lee Joel & Beth Ostrosky was aired on Extra. Most curent guest makeup expert on "The Cooper Lawrence Show."
